Hey guys, today I got banned for team switching. :-(

BF name:  D>E>F>U>S>E>R___v2.0

Here is what happened and some background to explain my actions.

1.  I've been kicked a few times before because your server AB switched me!  How does that makes any sense?  Your admins are waging war against your own AB, and the players are the victims.

2.  Today AB switched me again, so I switched back out of fear of getting kicked again.  Guess what, I GOT KICKED ANYWAY.  Don't you think the admins are sending mixed messages?

3.  I rejoined and got banned.

I still don't quite understand your switch rules, but hopefully you can see that I didn't break them on purpose.  On the contrary, I was trying to follow them but they're too damn confusing.

I'd appreciate it if someone explained the rules clearly, including the AB switching.  Please lift the ban and I'll be happy to follow the correct rules.

Thanks!

AB never switch players when the difference between teams is only one player.
Today you were connecting to the chinese team.
USMC had 8 players and chinese team 9, including you
Chinese was in a last flag situation and YOU switched to usmc
You were kicked for switching teams
You connected again and this time you were assigned to the usmc team, but you were switched back to chinese team using the bf2cc and you did the same switching back to usmc
The kick was not enough for you to receive the message, so, you were banned for 24 hrs this time
It is obvious you were trying to play with the winning team.
If you are only interested in playing with the advantage, then you are in the wrong server.
We welcome any player looking for a challenge.
We always try to keep the teams balanced, numerically and based on skills.
You are a skilled player, dont try to play only with the advantage, come on.

Ok I see, I understand from your perspective why it seems I was breaking the rule deliberately.

Now allow me to present you my point of view.

Let me start by saying that I couldn't care less about which team wins. I've never cared about that.

I thought that I got kicked because of the first switch, which wasn't me but it was the AB. So, I thought I was supposed to go BACK to the original team that I was supposed to be on, which was USMC (the previous round I was China). So when I rejoined, I switched to USMC, and then I got banned, thinking that I was doing the correct thing.

As I said before, I've been kicked more than once in the past, simply because the server switched me. So today naturally I assumed I was kicked for the same reason.

I hope this makes sense.

Look, I've made a mistake, but you can see that this is obviously a misunderstanding and not a deliberate violation.

"Switching to the winning team" is the last thing on my mind, I just like to have fun. Your server is one of the few remaining active serves in the US, so I wouldn't risk getting banned over something so stupid.

So please consider that.

AB never kicks you with reasons like "for switching teams" and you know it.
The ban got you here to our forums.
Now, you received the explanation for the ban.
The ban will be lifted in 24 hrs.

I think you misunderstand. I'm not saying AB kicked me. I'm saying that in the past actual admins have kicked me after I was switched by the server AB. So I thought that's what happened today too.

Anyway, I will not touch the switch button anymore. But next time an admin kicks me after I get AB switched, I'll come back to the forums to tell you about :-)
