Observations and Musings on other servers

So when our server was running it was the only server I played on. Here are some things I have noticed since playing elsewhere-

Rules matter - Doug and I were playing on Friends of War server which has no rules against attacking the carrier so when it rotated to the Wake Island map, we sat bored out of our asses on the island while the Chinese did nothing but rape the carrier the whole game. I just couldn't bring myself to join in. I also couldn't keep from killing the few stragglers who made it to South Base. Very conflicted.

Maps - I have to give credit to Doug for his skills. I am lost on other maps and am having a hard time adapting to other kits and situations. He just runs around like he owns the place. I did best when I had the medic kit and just revived him when he died. Sucks to be me!

Weekend Warriors - They don't seem to have had any engineers playing on their server. I get a lot of kills with mines.

None of these other servers have carefully thought out their rules or bother to enforce the rules they do have.
So it takes some getting used to, but I still enjoy playing regardless.
