| Blanco, Quick question a couple weeks ago I was playing commander and it was a last flag condition. Chinese had South Base I wasn't arty the south base but I was hitting the area in between South Base and Beach. I was getting messages about kicking so I knocked it off. I knew I couldn't hit the last flag location but I though it was ok to hit the area in between. Was I wrong in my thoughts??

| You are not wrong, but depends on where you put the center of the arty. The idea of the no air attack on last flag is to prevent the rape and avoid the spawn, die, spawn die situation. When you are in a last flag situation and using a good commander, normally usmc wins the round. I never use arty near the last flag, I like to give chinese team a chance to recover. I keep the arty to defend a flag in case chinese reach some of the other flags or to kill swimmers.

| If Beach is the last flag and someone is on the AA, can a plane or chopper shoot at it? I see that the AA is right on the edge of the zone. | |

I would have to say it is a last flag zone just like the AA at North, but I will pass the final decision on to Blanco.... E

E I say the AA at beach should not be attacked, the same as the AA at north base. When you shoot bullets or drop bombs on that AA at beach or north base you can kill players near the flag. AA at beach and AA at north base are too close to the flag. AA at south base and AA at north village are enough far away. If you keep in mind the reason of the no attack over last flag is to give the chinese team to recover, then we should not be attacking anything near to the flag or where the players spawns.

You can keep flying in case a vehicle or infantry is trying to reach/cap other flag.

Alright, thanks for the clarification.

| Just have to say I'm glad this topic is a sticky. I've been guilty of putting arty too close to no-arty zones on last flag. After reading all of this topic, I'm now adopting a "no-arty near" policy to allow chinese to recover. It makes sense to me, because sometimes there is only one direction for them to go. | |

| So now that I'm looking at the maps here, the bridge between north village and base is not included in either last flag area. I've been kicked before though for bombing the bridge to destroy it to keep the Chinese at north village. What gives? | |

| Not being able to view battle recorder because you don't state the time and date of your kick for bombing the bridge and getting kicked. I would say you bombed too close to one side. ps would only view battle recordings went a ban is involved | |

2 scenarios Last flag is North Village If you approach to the bridge from north base and drop bombs, some bombs could hit the other side of the bridge and that is an attack to the last flag. Last flag is North Base If you approach to the bridge from North Village and drop bombs, some bombs could hit the other side of the bridge and that is an attack to the last flag. If you are good enough droping bombs and not hit the other side of the bridge, then ok. If not, then approach from one of the sides of the bridge. Or, just dont drop bombs over the bridge, bail from the jet, stay at ground and help to cap the flag.

| I've been killed by jets on last flag while at north vill so many times I can't even count anymore. A lot of times people don't realize their bullets are hitting that side, or the bomb blast overshoots. | |
