I installed bf2 in my new comp. I did the 1.50 patch. all works fine. except all the servers are now red and I can join in? I get either server has older version or server has newer version?

Install BF2 installation CDs first, next install Bf2 Patch 1.41, last install is BF2 Patch 1.50. This is the order you must follow to get the latest BF2.
