BF2 Minimizing Problem

Hi, I'm fsbwildcat from the *LOD* clan. I recently went back and installed BF2, in preparation for BF3 and tiredness of BC2. Got everything installed, the 1.5 patch done and punkbuster update, along with all video/audio/control settings done.

I found your server and went to start a game and got through the loading screen. Got the kit selection and within 1 second the game minimized and I couldn't get it to come back up. I tried ALT+TAB and others, but the only thing that got my mouse to come out of hiding was CRTL+ALT+Delete. This completely closed the game.

Any suggestions? I figured since you guys have survived much of the leaving of BF2 and your server looks pretty well run and such you might be able to help me out.

What windows version are you using ?

Just checked punkbuster and it said no new updates. I was able to play a "single" player game though...

Happens to me several times a week, usually a reboot works. I would also keep the other running programs to a minimum.

I guess the ALT+TAB fix helped (?) it. It still flashes like its going to minimize, but then comes back. Thanks for the info again guys!
