BF2 Going Away?

I am unclear on what's going on.
Is the support for BF2 going away? In other words, is the master server going to be shut down and no more BF2 or ranked BF2 games?
I apologize if this topic has been covered before or if you guys are tired of hearing the same question over and over again.
