Banned, why?

Curious as to why I was banned. been playing this server for quite some time now and follow the rules. been playing BF2 for over 6 years now, almost 3000 hours. never been banned before.

Thank you for your explanation and I remember that infraction very well. I look guilty as hell, and am but would like to at least offer my account of what happened. I often play the TAF server which is FF off and this was merely a stupid mistake on my part. I did appologise but I don't think the guy believed I was sincere, especially since I flew off into the sunset in the J-10. a bit off the subject but did you happen to see my awesome jet kill with the Eryx at the end? anyway, thanks again and looking forward to killing, I mean seeing you soon on the battlefield!

Thank you for just saying "yep, I did it, sorry"; instead of the whining and complaining that most people do!!.
