Thinking of buying a new laptop and can't seem to find out if BF2 will work with Windows 7 Home Premium.

Does anybody know if it will or do I need to upgrade the OS to WIN7 Professional.

Thanks

Les

I am running Windows 7 Enterprise and its working just fine. I think its more about the inside than the OS.

Check here for system requirements:

Well from what I have read WIN 7 Professional and Ultimate have the capability to run XP programs
WIN 7 Enterprise is the same as Ultimate, the only difference between Ultimate and Enterprise - is the licensing...

Ultimate is a single user license. Enterprise is for volume licensees. Feature for feature, however, they're pretty much identical.

So what I am trying to figure out is if BF2 will work with WIN 7 Home Prem. I know it works with VISTA Home Prem

I can't look at the link you posted until I get home from work. It is blocked.

Try with home premium and if not, I think you can upgrade to Win7 Pro.
