I know there is a lot of crazy shit going on in the world. and I know a lot of people do not like to discuss politics because it can be Very controversial, and that is fine. but for the people that do not want the government to make all their decisions for them, this is an opportunity to speak out, and I thought it would be a good Idea to get peoples opinions on the matter. I myself am a Ron Paul supporter. I believe in smaller government, less intrusive government, less government spending, individual liberty, personal freedom, 9/11 truth, transparency of government, bringing the troops home, ending the Fed, the IRS, DEA, and the war on drugs, and supporting and following the constitution. I recently found a video of a guy in 1958 predicting just about everything that is happening today.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqXVYTKKMec

Its kinda scary how much this guy hits it right on the head. anyway there will never be the change we want to see if we stay silent about it. cherry albino Like a Star @ heaven

thats why I started this thread. I would love to hear your opinions about the government. and there are a few good ones in the mix. they are far and few but they are there, and we seem to be seeing more of more of them coming up. We need to focus on these candidates. be active in educating people about what is going on and what the people we are endorsing are going to do to change it. Ron Paul stated he would bring our troops home, cut government spending, end the war on drugs, end the FED( federal reserve banking system) and the IRS. and restore the constitution. cut the head off the snake and the rest will wither and die. the FED is the head of the snake in my opinion. it is what is giving the financial backing to everything that is happening that is screwing everything up for everyone.

another big problem we have is election fraud. candidates are chosen before they are elected by the elitists. the election is just a show to make people think that they have freedom of choice. so do candidates like Ron Paul really have a chance? I would hope that if won by an overwhelming majority they couldn't sway the votes that much but who knows? either way it is not going to make me vote for the lesser of the two evils just because I know this fraud exists. if Ron Paul for some reason didn't make it on the ballot, he would still get my vote.

The problem with that is that you have to have a federal government of some sort....you have to have a military and you have to have some entity that will maintain the infrastructure. Therefore you have to have some way of collecting taxes.

One of the biggest problems is that someone will introduce a good bill, and everyone else tacks on a bunch of crap that has nothing to do with it and we end up paying for it (or our grandkids end up paying for it!)

I agree we need a government. but we need a correct understanding of the proper role of government. it is not to take care of us from cradle to grave and butt into our personal lives and transfer our wealth to the already wealthy. we need COMPLETE TRANSPARENCY in the government.

Where to start? Ron Paul 2008 no opps I meant 2012 well Ron Paul either way all the way funny he was shut out by the media during the 2008 race more like shunned from any open debates during his 2008 campaign. He was the only campaign to run with a $0.00 deficit during his entire race. He also held his own Republican convention due to unfair treatment from the party.

Tea Party = Dont Tread on me. Just as good as any grass roots movement if your a career politician then you need to step down as there are major issues with this country.

Ron's favorite statement was lets get our troops out of Germany, out of Iraq, Afghanistan, Japan, Kora why are we supporting a multi trillion dollar empire when we have our own issues in this country. Secure our boarders both North & South.

He was one of the first politician's to state that the bail out would never work no matter how much the government tried to prop up Freddie & Franny Mac. Let them fail as their lending practices are the one's who helped get us in this housing market crash to start with.

Glenn Beck Arguing With Idiots Read it cause its a really great book I've read it twice so far. He tells you how Freddie Mac & Franny was put into operation in 1928 to shore up mortgages to help private banks. He informs of how Amtrak was founded and how that is a failing company as well. It was set up to be a profitable company but has yet to make $1.00 and costs the tax payer about 3 billion so far. Or how Sweden is a Socialist country but they did not even bail out their only car manufacture from going belly up. Although GM & Chrysler are to large to fail.

How about the fact that President Grover Cleveland did not authorize federal tax money to a community down in Texas as they were requesting from the Congress, Instead they received public donations and received 6 times the amount that they asked for. This is how this country was founded was to help your neighbor. After Katrina FEMA released Debit cards to those people who were effected by the flooding & hurricane's they found most of that money was used to buy Porn online and other none medical / emergency related needs. Let alone they misplaced about 38 debit cards with a value of over $700,000 just gone missing.

The point I am making here is the government is to Fat, to large, in your liberties & invading your privacy. You want to smoke weed you should be allowed to in the privacy of your own home. These are called civil liberties and after 911 & the Patriot Act the governemt is eves dropping on anybody's phone conversation that your name came up on a list.

In 1994, Israel received $1.8 billion in military credits and $1.2 billion in economic aid, or 26 percent of the $11.5 billion total U.S. foreign aid bill. I am sure this number is much higher today as well. But Israel doesnt want us to send aid in US dollars they want us to convert it to Euros first as it has a higher value.
