Server Moderator status

Hello, my server Moderator status isn't working with the new server can that be fixed please.

also the free fly option isn't working so cant check players from both sides.

This is actually a new server. Paper branched off an made his own server an changed the name. I tried to invite you last night so I could tell you what' is going on but you never accepted my invite to my squad. If you are on tonight I wanted to talk to you. Thank you.

look forward to catching up, hopefully Viop gets sorted out so we can chat.

All VOIP was working last night. I'll come check here in a moment to see if it still works.

Ok let us know Country Girl, it wasnt working earlier today but they have got it back up by now they may restart some time here in next few hours after they finish working on it all

Just wanted to let you know that the server is still crashing at times, soon as the TFC server is full it crashes. not sure but I notice it every time paper is sitting on his server alone it happens then everyone joins his server. I have been logging onto the server soon as it happens and have been able to bring some players back. I also noticed that when I am on the server and logged into bf2cc it doesn't happen. Not sure why at this point but I am investigating and noting when it happens.

Also last night when I was on I noticed a player that I haven't seen before putting up weird commands. not sure if this has anything to do with it or not.

Gunny if you need any help with fixing the server to stop the crashing I have a few ideas that may work. I ran a server of my own before and had the problem of people hacking into the server and I was able to fix it and stop them from getting in again.

If i said paper was venting about it the otherday cuz it happened to him?

if any of u play war west us or west coast it's sum nerd whos salty on something and has nothing better to do then ping and dos servers all day... mini is equally pissed off about it and i think we all are.

Gunny is out of town and says if you have any ideas and are able to implement them to go ahead.  I myself will be busy this weekend unable to get much if any time in either.

lol...i leave my player(s) in my server all the time...if you havnt noticed most of the community run servers are crashing non stop...ive already had a talk with gunny about this and the responses from gameservers about their malicious attacks on bf2 server boxes...the only time you will not see my character in game is if ours crashes and im not physically able to put him back in...

Revive has confirmed that the Stat Hack exploit is still going around and will be looked into...

I understand this is a message quote from someone else but id appreciate it if you didnt try and publically throw me into all this crap...

we already have concrete evidance of an ex revive admin claiming responsibility for your crashes...

I know that you and I have had our differences of opinions, I want to state without the shadow of a doubt that I do not feel that you personally have tried to do anything against the new TFC server.  I don't doubt that some that are upset about what they feel was or still is unfair treatment might try to do things to cause crashes or any other issues.  Mr. Keaton came on TFC the other day talking trash and I just laughed it off, I would like to think that you are still true to your word that we are welcome on your server as you are on ours.  I wish we could have mended fences but that wasn't able to happen at the time.


I will repeat again that I hold NO ill will toward Paper, we have known each other for many years, I still respect him and consider him a friend.

i see tfc over here often and its still fun...nobody talks any trash...i am currently dealing with keaton as he seems to be the only one causing issues...

hopefully revive and gameservers figures something out as all community run servers are suffering massive attacks...

There was a guy on the TFC server the other night he had tags =TOR= luzia he was putting in commands while I was on the server. Not sure what he was trying to do cause I have never seen those commands before. The server still stayed up and running. I kept a eye on him during the game. Also have never seen this player before.

I not sure if you guys have tried this or not. In the main server control panel you are able to change the password, back in the day when I had a server myself it was hacked a number of times. By going into the main server control panel I changed the password changed a few things and fixed the problem, the server was never hacked again.

password has been changed regularly since day one

Revive seems to be having a really bad time resolving that issue like Paper said.. but glad everyone is playing good with no issues together Paper as it should be, we may be seperate servers. But no reason we cant share resources and info to help each other when we can. Im at a big Bike Rally for the Weekend in Fayetteville Arkansas, so i wont be on. I was on the server last night and noticed a player who came on, excuse the language, his alias was GetFucked, the first time he came on the server crashed, so I watched bf2cc to see if he was going to come back and sure enough he did, the server crashed again he then came on a third time but this time I was ready to ban him, I didn't realise that Countrygirl was on bf2cc she beat me to it, lol she was on the ball with that one.

The server was running well after that for at least 3hrs hrs until a player came on by the name of Chatue, he played for a little while till he typed in chat, he called me the c word and swore at me he logged off the server crashed twice, when Countrygirl banned the other guy she banned his IP and cd key. Now I am not sure but I think this Chatue may have been the same guy with a different cd key and IP , If this was the same guy I think he may have thought that it may have been me who banned him as I was on the server and bf2cc when the Countrygirl banned him.

I checked the IP of the guy Countrygirl banned, it was an Australian IP from an Australian internet provider. Unfortunately I was unable to check the second guys IP and cd key, if I did he would have changed his cd key and IP and wouldn't have matched anyway.

maybe just keep an eye out for this Chatue player and if he comes on while you guys are on maybe check him out, the server was running fine after that. I kept my player when I went to bed in the hope that they would still see a clan member and admin still on the server,

I did notice Gunny on earlier, I try to stay on bf2cc as much as I can and play on the server in the hope that if we keep banning the person crashing the server maybe he might get sick of it and go away, also being careful no to ban wrong person.

just thought I would let you guys know what is happening and keep you informed. I'm working tomorrow but will try and get on early after work to catch up with someone on Ventrilo.

Thank you very much appreciate the heads up and great info and good catch Countrygirl on the Ban hope they figure this out soon, it is really getting old we lost most of the players over the weekend due to crashes and thanks Hotshoter44 for keeping your guy in i try to do the same if anyone else can, please do the same for awhile till Revive figures out these issues again great job watching the server and putting up good info we can all watch for this individual now
