Hello and Howdy,.....I have noticed the server is a bit slow some days......I usually pop in and hang out for a while practicing flying.....and wait for players.

if there are times you all like to play, or works with your schedule....let me know what days and times....ill drop by....!!

I'm trying to bring on TFC server, some portuguese players from BF2 facebook group, they are looking for a good server to play...now lets see if they show up.

So...leave BF4 for a while and get your a##es on Wake Island!

We try to get people on.. me and E are on most evenings and no one comes in therefore BF4 is only option.. not enough people are playing anymore and weekend warriors sucks a big fat one we will just have to wait till more players start surfacing to get the server back to way it use to be. right now weekend warriors has everyone playing on there server which put a huge hurt on ours but in time it will slowly bring players back to ours but they have a huge following right now I personally don't like it but then again I play BF4 so I don't have to play over there

I play for 3hr+ almost every day.
The server gets populated around 9:00 pm to 1:00 am (pacific daylight savings time).

Yeah I'm Central time and a few others are as well. think we're just going to have to wait till our old following comes back.. or late night play is only option .. guess those of us on central just have to keep playing other games for awhile till they all start playing again on our server not much fun with 2 or 3 players

It´s not a portuguese group,but there are some portuguese and brazilian players.

If you look on FB for battlefield 2 groups,there are several...this one has a cover picture of a MEC soldier with PKM.

Last night when we were at Wake,my connection crashed and after that I couldn´t log in again having this information:" the server refused your connection"...I wonder why...

Could be the filters, as you mentioned in another post, Blanco.

Mine are set to same version, same mod, battle commo, Punkbuster. Nowadays, I uncheck ranked since there are fewer ranked servers, and instead of checking all the map sizes, I've always had them unchecked--all map sizes show up fine. Good luck.

One thing I've noticed is new players appearing and getting kicked for appointing themselves commander with < 10 players; this rule does NOT appear on the server's splash screen, and also has no big red-letter display on the playing screen, so maybe add it? I think there's room there, and if there isn't, maybe omit the Racism line? (people who have to be told not to use racist language can be kicked without warning, I suggest).

THIS SCROLLS IN GAME.- No commanders while less than 10 active players, unless chinese has no flags to find the last player.
And they always get a warning or two first before they get kicked.
We don't have room on are splash screen for all of our rules.

can we at least get the bots back on the server for us few diehards? it all but impossible to populate without them, especially with everyone playing that BS4 I havent seen anyone on in a good week..

Another query: is the voice comms generally nonfunctional, or is there something wrong with my particular system (not hearing any conversation on two different W7 installs on different HDDs)

@ Gene H: I dont have BS4 ...I upgraded vbf2 to bf2 pr and its great!Lots of teamwork,weapons,assets,maps...all on vBF2 engine.One good round takes one to one and a half hour.

From time to time,I go to TFC server...but is empty.

@ Horza : I have Windows 7 X64 and voip works fine.

The bots are rented and there time is up. viop has been down for about a week.
Bf2cc has also expired. and the server expires sat nov 1.
I was thinking of trying to keep the server running, But decided not to keep whipping a dead horse.
I would like to keep our website and ventrilo going.

indeed. I guess I really will have to get on with the upgrade to make BF4 playable, or resign myself to Weekend Warriors, whose rules are inferior, and why don't they run a few other maps ??!!

Its ping may be hopeless from Oz, it doesn't show up for me in the under-300 zone.  However will look for it.
I live on the west coast of Canada my ping at [BR] =The Friends of War= is about 80ms.
Not sure where Oz is, You might try ruby slippers.
