| Sometimes in game, I get "Your connection to the server has been lost".
I do have a router, but the gaming system I play on is connected through Ethernet/Cable Modem.
The router is in place so that my roommate can have the laptop connected.

| I am pretty sure that ALL of us have "Connection Issues" from time to time whether it is a glitch that just happens of some jerk that it crashing the server is the issue.

| Oh wow, if someone is glitching, it will crash? Learn something new every day. I've been playing WAKE for a long time and I have never "fell" in a whole I read somewhere on Google that I need to disable my firewall or have my ISP open up a few ports or check for noise in my line. Not a big deal, as I can just come right back into a server, but it's frustrating sometimes. Sometimes I will be flying and BAM! it hits me lol. That sucks. I'll be in a Tank and it'll happen, so I don't think it's the flying persay. | |

| Mamba, a couple of days ago, I saw your ping jump to the 400s. I believe you don't have enough bandwidth if you are sharing your internet with someone else. Also, if you or orther person are downloading files and playing games, this will cause problems too. You need to cut off as much use on the internet while you are playing BF2.

| When my son and his daughter were living with us they would stream movies and my ping would jump up and down. I bought a dual band router and it solved the problem by designating bandwidth on my half of the network. | |

| Thanks, Sniper. This just started a few days ago. I am on the phone now with my ISP to see if we can fix it. | |

| Netgear N600. I got it at Costco and it set up easily. It has a 5G band and a 3G band and each can be password protected separately. I set it up so I have exclusive access to the 5G. | |

| Wansu, last night I was told that I could go into the Router's settings and set mine to have more bandwidth than the other. I was going to call my ISP today and find out how.
Me and you have the SAME router. How is yours setup?

FYI, you will need a N Band laptop/computer to receive the 5Ghz speed. If you have A/B/G Band, you will not get the N Band speed, You will get the 2.4 Ghz speed.
