| Our mistake was going to Alaska too early. We went in early July and the Salmon hadn't started running yet. All we heard on every tour was "In a few weeks this place will be crawling with bears!" Yeah. That's what I wanted to hear... | |

| Cruised the inside passage, 1 day in Seward, 3 days in Anchorage area, 2 days in Denali, and 4 days in Wasilla. Had a great time and the weather cooperated. | |

| My sister used to rent cabins in Ninilchik for tourists wanting to go halibut fishing. If you ever get to Homer, the Lands End restaurant at the end of the spit has a great view, and Fat Olives has fantastic pizza!!
